The iTero Lumina intraoral scanner captures a detailed three-dimensional representation of your teeth and bite. A small scanning wand records the tooth surfaces while the image develops on a screen. For many patients, this replaces the need for conventional impression material.
How This Technology Supports Orthodontic Care
Digital scans can support orthodontic diagnosis, clear aligner planning, retainers, appliance design, progress comparisons, and digital simulations. The scan can be reviewed immediately, allowing Dr. Sibel Eljach to check important areas before the appointment is complete.
What to Expect
Scanning is completed section by section while you rest comfortably in the chair. The process does not use radiation. You may be asked to open, close, or bite in a specific position so the scanner can record how the upper and lower teeth fit together.
Technology With Clinical Oversight
Technology supports Dr. Eljach's clinical judgment, but it does not replace a complete orthodontic examination or personalized diagnosis. Learn about our full technology capabilities or explore available orthodontic treatments.
