Dr. Sibel Eljach, DMD, MS
Dr. Sibel Eljach founded COCO Smiles Orthodontics to give children, teens, and adults a more personal orthodontic experience. She creates an individualized plan for each patient and remains involved from the first consultation through retention. Her approach combines careful diagnosis, attentive communication, modern technology, and treatment options selected around each patient's needs and goals.
Dr. Eljach provides metal braces, clear ceramic braces, WildSmiles braces, Invisalign clear aligners, InSmile lingual braces, palatal expansion, and several retainer options. Her experience includes routine alignment, complex comprehensive care, adult expansion, and the orthodontic phase of surgical cases coordinated with oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
Dr. Eljach began her dental education at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in Izmir, Türkiye, where she earned a master's degree in dentistry in 2005. After relocating to the United States, she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry in 2017. She then completed a full-time specialty residency in orthodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020.
Her additional education includes the Tweed Study Course in advanced edgewise mechanics and diagnosis and advanced Invisalign training in complex treatment planning and case finishing. She continues her education through professional meetings and training focused on lingual braces, digital scanning, CBCT-based diagnosis, digital planning, and in-house 3D printing.
Dr. Eljach opened COCO Smiles Orthodontics in Coconut Grove to care for the community where she and her family live. Outside the office, she enjoys discovering Miami restaurants, traveling, reading, taking long walks with her dog, and spending time with her husband Sal and their daughter Zoe.
